hiya,

how far are Marthas Vineyard family camping sites from the ferry terminal? Is it possible to take our RV across to the island and do the campgrounds have RV hook ups?

also, does anyone know Marthas Vineyard ferry schedule and when the earliest ferry leaves?

It's possible to take your RV across the island. In fact, the Steamship Authority carries vehicles and trailers of all sizes across the waters and the shuttle service connects the ferry terminal with the camping sites.

There are actually several ferries that service the island with both fast and regular operation. The Marthas Vineyard ferry schedule has ferries leaving from Hyannis, Nantucket, New Bedford, Wood's Hole, Falmouth and also from Rhode Island.

The earliest Marthas Vineyard ferry departs at 6am but the good thing is that there are many different ferry companies offering a variety of rates and service you require.
