hi there,

Decent beach rentals in Mexico at affordable prices depend on how close you are to the beach. Rentals can vary significantly but beachfront and ocean front villas are normally more expensive than rental town houses. For instance, Cancun or Playa del Carmen are two of the best places to find beach rentals but they're also very popular so book in advance to get cheap prices.

Beach isn't big issue, bathrooms and electricity are important

Puerto Escondido, dont follow the crowd and go to the mass tourist destinations, those are the crappiest places on earth, ruined by mass tourism. Go Oaxaca coast, but not Acapulco (recommended you are familiar with the spanish language tough).
