I fly into Cancun in early april and want to take a bus to Chetumal,Mexico then onto Corozal,Belize. Can anyone please tell me at what web site to go to in order to check on the arrival / departure times as well as fares.I've been looking in all the wrong place allll day!

Oddly enough, I've heard the bus service to and from Chetumal into Belize can be a mess. And the fact that I'm finding it hard to locate good, official information seems to back this up.

Have you actually heard of this site? It started out as a man and his wife offering shuttle services with their one van, but because of their service (and the sometimes non-serivce) of the main bus lines, their business has grown. You might want to either give them a call or shoot them an email. They operate out of Corozal and it sounds like they do pickups in Chetumal. Might be a good option, and it sounds like it'd be much quicker/more comfortable than a bus. Another option is reading more on Belize Buses.

As far as I can figure out the ADO company bus schedule for April /07 has not been verified and posted online yet.

(1) This is an inexpensive way to get to the Bus Station in downtown Cancun.-------During prime arrival times, the Riviera Bus-ADO company offers direct comfortable buses with AC departing from far side of the Terminal # 2 of the Cancun airport. Cost is currently approx. 8 US per person, bus takes approx. 50 min. You can purchase your tickets directly from one of the red shirt ADO-RIVIERA bus employees

(2) Mexico/Belize Border Crossings - will have to pay a US$10 exit fee per person to leave Belize, even if the excursion is only for one day. One should also take into account the US$5 fee for a double entry by the Mexican authorities when crossing back and forth.
