| hi guys, Does anyone if it's far getting from Cancun to Chichen Itza and how long would exploring the Chichen Itza ruins take? also, is there shops or amenities nearby for getting food and water? |

| hi there, The trip from Cancun to Chichen Itza is about a 2-3 hour drive but be aware of tolls along the way. Before you set on your way to the Chichen ruins, make sure you purchase a Chichen Itza map because the ruins are quite extensive. You'll need a couple of days to really get a good experience and explore the ruins, although you'll have to pay admission for each day. There are hotels in Chichen Itza as well as restaurants and other amenities so you won't have to worry about drinking and eating. Hope this helps Vacationbuddy
