day trips from Guadalajara

hola muchachos!

Im traveling to Guadalajara with a group of friends and I am in charged of writing our itinerary. We're going to stay in Guadalajara for 20 days, so we've got plenty of time! Can I get some input from you on day trips from Guadalajara worth doing?

hi there,

One of the day trips from Guadalajara I would suggest is a visit to the Guachimontones ruins which are about an hour from Guadalajara.

Near the ruins are several mounds of earth and stone as well as several plazas and ancient courts where the natives would've played sports.

This place is a terrific place to visit if you're interested in visiting ruins in Mexico and learning about the area's history.
