|  Playa del Carmen or Cabo San Lucas? We've never been to Mexico, but have an opportunity to get away to either Playa del Carmen or Cabo San Lucas. We're in our early twenties and we want to relax on a beach and maybe hit a club or two, though we're not party animals:) |

|  Re: Playa del Carmen or Cabo San Lucas? I'd choose Cabo San Lucas as it tends to be less busy than Playa del Carmen. Also, to get to Playa you need to fly into Cancun airport which can be crowded. In the other hand, Cabo San Lucas does have gorgeous beaches but it doesn't have the forest, like Playa del Carmen where you can dot many eco-tours. Overall, I feel that Cabo area is more relaxed and has more of a high-end atmosphere than in Playa because of the up-scale shops. |
