things to do in Mexico

I've never been to Mexico before but am looking to plan my first trip to the southern part of North America. I am aware that the country is huge but I'd like to see and explore as much as I could in one trip..any ideas where to start and what interesting things to do in Mexico?

No problem, I think I can point you in the right direction and give you some ideas on things to do in Mexico as well. Basically, for me Mexico is one of the best places in the world to do all kinds of things like surfing, scuba diving, fishing, etc; but also hike excursions, shopping and interesting tours such as Mexico City where you can see the ancient ruins.

To soak in the best Mexican atmosphere and make the most of your trip in the country, I would also recommend visiting Mexico during one of the country's major events such as the Mexican Day of Independence in September or Day of the Dead in early November.

Also, don't miss catching a ride on the Chihuahua Pacific Railway to see stunning canyons views and lovely vistas of mesas and bare peaks.
