| As of Monday August 20th 11am EDT it looks like Hurricane Dean will not directly hit the most populated tourist zones of Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. Here's a link that shows a projected path based on of the National Hurricane Center's forecast path. I overlayed a couple cities on path map so you can see reference points. National Hurriance Center projected path with cities overlay This will be major Cat4 or Cat5 Hurricane so everyone on the Yucatan please take shelter and be safe! Best wishes, D360 |
