Tulum Beaches are wonderful. I prefer places that are quiet. Too much hotels on Cancun beach make the beauty dissapear.

Santa Maria (just south of Cabo) is a very nice spot! Some of the local restaurants are better than anything you'd find in Cabo (not nearly as expensive or busy) and you're going to relax and enjoy your vacation way more when you're not getting soaked by the locals who think you're a money tree.

I traveled almost all the place you mentioned above. Just returned.the food was not good.the item on the menu was not what you ordered. the tv was not clear and few English stations. Do not let them talk you in to a timeshare it is the bigest mistake you will ever make. The beach is beautiful, the staff is great you just have to ask and they are right there to help you.I did tip and so did the other guests.but you don"t have to. Go to Xerert it is the best attraction there, other than the historical places.
