when to go to Puerto Vallarta

I am new to the forum and i was looking for info and when to go to Puerto Vallarta for a beach and fishing holiday? any suggestions?

You can travel to Puerto Vallarta anytime of the year as the area gets over 300 days of sunshine per year. However, the rainy season runs from mid-June through mid-October, with the heaviest rains in July, August, and September.

If you are planning a fishing trip and you're a sport fisherman, you can come any time as well, but during the rainy season you can find plenty of sport fish.

For water sport such as surfing, head to Sayulita during the winter months, as it is the best time to catch a wave down here.

Hi, I am new too to the forum, but I am a Mexican Pacific veteran, so to speak!
To answer your question: Right now would be perfect, the weather is lovely.
I don´t fish, but yesterday I saw fishermen bring in huge Red Snappers, so I guess fishing is good here. Otherwise there would not be dozens of fishing boats on the beaches.
Fishing trips are easy to organize, in the village or bya hotel, surfing is great here too.
Rainy season will start in a few weeks, so, if I were you, I would get going.
