June trip to Michigan

We are going to Michigan in the first part of June. Our plan is to hang out in the Langsing area for a few days, then drive up to Macinaw and see the Macinac Island and maybe take a day trip into Canada. Does anyone have any suggestions on places to eat in those areas and things to do?

Here's a few things to see and do:

Fort Mackinac- National Historic Landmark where guides are dressed in period costumes.

Horseback riding, Carriage Tours, and Bike trails.

Take a cruise on the Great lakes.

If your looking for a unique place to stay or even just to have lunch check out the Grand Hotel on Mackinic Island.

don't miss the Traverse City, it has niice restaurants, wonderful beaches on the beautiful Grand Traverse Bay, visit this lovely downtown area if you find time....
