has anyone being to Michigan in the summer and what is it like?

Hi there,

Michigan is a wonderful place and it holds many events throughout the year such as fairs, art shows, etc. If you are planning to travel in the summer, you can expect to catch Jazz festivals throughout the state and also, the Annual Blueberry Festival and the Cherry Festival in city of Paradise and Traverse respectively.

Other popular festivals happening in Michigan are as follows:

* The Tulip Time Festival in Holland, Michigan, which happens in May.
* The Ann Arbor Art Fair happening in July.
* The Detroit Festival of the Arts in early June featuring performing artists and visual works from all over the world.

If you are a race fan, a popular event happening in Detroit is the Motorsports festival which features the American LeMans Racing Series and the IndyCar Series races on Belle Isle Park.
