| One of the best spots for canoeing, fishing, kayaking and observing wildlife is Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Honestly, this place is a true natural outdoor haven that feels like is miles away from everything! Regarding accommodation, Boundary Waters has cabins for rent, which can be found through Boundary Waters Outfitters or from Gunflint Lodge. You can also find cabins for rent on Pelican Lake, Grand Marais and Cook Lake. One pointer I'll give since you want to observe wildlife is to get up early in morning or wait around sunset time near the bogs of the lakes to spot the larger animals. |
