|  outdoor places to hang out in the Twin Cities hello, I'll be going to Minneapolis this June, and need your input. Shopping isn't really my forte so Mall of America isn't the reason im coming here..i was wondering where people hang out to enjoy fun and exciting outdoor activities? |

|  Re: outdoor places to hang out in the Twin Cities Lake Calhoun is no doubt one of the best outdoor places to hang out in the Twin Cities during the warm months. I've been to Lake Calhoun with friends and the lake boasts sandy beaches for swimming, beach volleyball, picnics and sunbathing areas. Not sure if you like boasting, but kayaking is a popular thing to do here and rentals are available if you don't own your boat or kayak. |
