Hey everybody, looking for something to do in Minnesota with my friends from work. We've done plenty of happy hours, dinners and the usual things but this time we're looking to do something different, maybe casinos. Can anyone think of any other fun group activities? Thanks!

You could try Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is the Midwest's premier gaming destination and the largest of all MN casinos. In fact, Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is the largest casino in the entire Midwest. But Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is alcohol free so if you looking for a place to have a few drinks this isn`t the right one! There is another good one, Grand Casino Mille Lacs this one overlooks the shores of Lake Mille Lacs, in the heart of Minnesota’s finest vacationland. The lake provides year-round recreation, including boating, swimming, golf, and world-class walleye fishing. For winter enthusiasts, snowmobile trails begin right out of the front door, plus you’ll find some of Minnesota’s best ice fishing and cross-country skiing. If you’re traveling with a large group, our Grand Casino Mille Lacs Events & Convention Center could be just what you’re looking for. They offer complete meeting and banquet facilities for groups up to 1,600. There’s plenty of action to go around, 24-hours a day. Not forgetting this great one the Treasure Island Casino and Resort is one of the most well known of all casinos in the state. The casino is located in Welch, Minnesota less than an hour’s drive from St Paul and Minneapolis. Headlining entertainment includes national and international performers taking the stage each month when live music and comedy shows are featured. Four restaurants on-site and a number of cocktail lounges provide food and drink for those looking to recharge. Ckeck this link for more information on Minnesota Casinos But there is so much more to do there apart from drinking and eating, you have fishing, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, camping, skiing and you have the Minnesota Golf Courses. you can't get bored in Minnesota, I hope this helps! Have a great time. Flights To Minnesota, Things To Do in Minnesota

I am not sure what you are used to but the casinos in Minnesota are a bit different than I was used to being from Montana and now Nevada. You have to pay for your drinks even if you are gambling and they would only bring me a drink every half hour. They timed it because I ordered one too soon once. Tobacco is also not allowed. There is plenty of gambling and it can still be enjoyable, just be aware of some kind of funny rules for a casino.
