| hey guys, We want to get away for a week or so in early spring to Minnesota, more specifically Minneapolis. Does anyone know of any recreation areas or parks where we can enjoy some outdoor activities in Minneapolis? |

| hi there, One of the best places to explore the outdoors in Minneapolis is in Minnehaha Park, which is also home to the amazing Minnehaha Falls. If you are traveling with the family, the park is ideal for picnics and here you can find snack bars, picnic tables, public grills, a playground and information kiosks. Fishing and mountain biking are popular pastimes on warmer days and you can also take a canoe for a lazy paddle down the river. During a visit to Minnehaha Falls Park you'll be able to see wildlife such as the black-crowned heron and many other wild birds. Hope this helps Vacationbuddy
