Natchez antebellum home tour

Has anyone toured Natchez antebellum homes, and would you say is worth booking a tour? I am wondering if there is a point going for a tour of all the mansions is they're all the same?

Natchez antebellum homes and mansions open year-round, though I think spring and fall are best time because of pleasant weather.

I'd recommend that you book a tour of a few houses as you will find that all the antebellum mansions and homes are all unique and some were built in the 18th and 19th centuries.

twice a year, Natchez hosts a pilgrimage, which is a great time to visit. These events open up many of the houses that you can't normally visit and bring in special events like concerts, ladies in antebellum costumes, and teas.

One is held in the spring and another at Christmastime.

Yes, I believe there is a pilgrimage in the summer, and one in autumn called the Fall Pilgrimage, which runs between Sept. 30 and Oct. 14. The tour is provided by Natchez Pilgrimage tours who take to see about 20 antebellum mansions, which open their doors to visitors during this two-week Pilgrimage each autumn.

I think it's about $15 for Adults and $10 for Youth ages 6-18, or add one of these houses to any tour for $12 per house (Students $8).
