|  going to visit Moldova in two weeks Hi *! A friend and me are going to visit Moldova in two weeks. We are planning to take a bus or train from Kiev to Chisinau and both have a valid EU passport. My question is...is it possible to enter to Moldova when going by train from Ukraine if you don´t have a visa in advance? If so, can we get the visa on arrival at Molodova border? |

|  Re: going to visit Moldova in two weeks If you're an EU citizen, you do not need a visa to enter Moldova. You can enter Moldova just on your valid EU passport and stay here for 90 days within the 6 months period. On the other hand some buses and trains from Kiev are crossing the Transdniestr region on their way to Moldova, but this may cause you some unwanted hassle because of the way they treat foreign travelers on the border. I would suggest going via the north of Moldova without crossing the Transdniestrian region on your own. |
