day trips from Marrakech

hiya, we'll be flying out to Marrakech this September and Im in charged of working out our itinerary of things we'll be doing there..i'd love to get some input on day trips from Marrakech? any ideas?:)

hi there,

The Ourika Valley is one of the most popular destinations and day trips from Marrakech that you can take and it's only 45 minutes away from Marrakech.

There are a couple of towns in the valley like Setti Fatma town which is the center of tourism in the valley because of the popular moussem, which is a 4 day festival that features a fair and a market.

however, Ourika Valley is the top attraction and it is here where you should spend more time, although one day might not be enough to enjoy everything that the valley has to offer.

If you can, try and book an extended tour of Ourika Valley which will include things like hiking trips, birdwatching, rock climbing, and mountain biking.
