Everest Base Camp vs Inca Trail

Can you give some insight as to the difficulty of the Everest Base Camp trek itself as compared to the Inca Trail? Thanks!

From personal experience, I can tell you that the Everest Base Camp trek does not compare to the Inca Trail. I mean, the Inca Trail trek is very strenuous and difficult as you're basically going up and down very steep paths for days, while the Everest Base Camp trek has mostly flat sections.

The thing that makes the Everest Base Camp trek challenging is the altitude so, you'll find hard to breathe, and might get altitude sickness.

I suggest taking a supply of diamox to hide the effects of altitude sickness. If you do get altitude sickness, try not to sleep too much as sleeping will make altitude sickness worse.
