Nevada

Nevada is home to Las Vegas but it houses much more than that. Ski at Lake Tahoe, cruise Lake Mead, or relax at the Carson City Hot Springs Resort. View the striking red sandstone formations at Red Rock Canyon. Enjoy the hiking, and biking in the area. Nevada is a state with legalized casino gambling and cities like Reno also have tables and slot machines.

Default Slots and Dining Suggestions or Recommendations Requested

Hi,

We will be returning to Las Vegas on July 10 - 12 and every month after that for 2 - 4 days and would like to know if anyone has any advice to share on where to play slots (Wheel Of Fortune) & Video Poker at casinos that are some what loser or better to gamble & dine (Buffett) at. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Treasure Island and Bills Wild West Gambling Hall(was Barbary Coast) both have the new larger multi-player Weel of ?Forturne.....as far as video slots go i go to Terribles but thats off the strip...also you might want to try Sams Town or Green Vally Ranch(suttle buses are available)...buffet...try Planet Hollywood's Spice Market Buffet or Paris,Ballys or if you really want to spend some coin on a good dinner buffet you could try either The Wynns or Bellagio.
I will be returing to Las Vegas for my 11th time in Aug19-24 and again in Sept 23-28

Hopes this helps...

Thanks for the info. Sounds like you practically live in Vegas and should know what's going on. I know where all the locations you gave is located, but have only been to the Wynn and South Point last week for the first time in a little over 2 years. Sine we have been going fishing and to Oahu instead. So I guess now is the time to make up for lost time. As I saidbefore we will be going the 10 - 12 next month and the 6 - 10 in August. As for Sept & Oct we will also be going, but just have not made any reservations yet. The back to Oahu in Nov on the 7 - 19. So I need to win some money and lots of it, if possible. :) So once again any info that anyone can share would be greatly appreciated. Mean while, good luck.

I must say my favortie vidoe poker machines are at the Fontana Bar at the Bellagio. Great bartenders and a very relaxing atmosphere. My husband won the Royal for $4,500 so that made it even more fun -- Go figure! There are also quarter video poker machines as well.

I lost as expected. I played Wheel Of Fortune at Wynn the first day and was up by $400, but the nex't day I lost it all back plus another $200. Then on the 3rd day I also lost $600 at South Point playing Wheel Of Fortune and 777 slots. So go figure that.

Either way we will returning again to try to win or just have fun in August for 4 days. My goal now is to try to learn how to play some of the new slots that have replaced the old ones. You know the ones that look like they are for kids with the watermelons, etc. Right now they are like Greek to me and I have very little knowledge, if any on how to play them. Who knows maybe my luck will change too. Anyway good luck everyone and thanks for your tips & expertise. Any knowledge shared is greatly appreciated.

TTYL,

Thumbs up Re: Slots and Dining Suggestions or Recommendations Requested

Thanks for the info. I probably will get around to doing half of what you suggest eventually, but for now I just want to get rich like most others. Which by the way I won $2500 a couple of weeks ago on the dollar slot and ran. Now I will be going to Hawaii the first week of November for 2 weeks and will probably go back to Las Vegas in December or for New Year's.
