Nevada

Nevada is home to Las Vegas but it houses much more than that. Ski at Lake Tahoe, cruise Lake Mead, or relax at the Carson City Hot Springs Resort. View the striking red sandstone formations at Red Rock Canyon. Enjoy the hiking, and biking in the area. Nevada is a state with legalized casino gambling and cities like Reno also have tables and slot machines.

richlanxsabelle Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Posts: 28	Southern Nevada There's Lake Mead, the great inland ocean/water-based playground that's held in check by Hoover Dam, one of the greatest human triumphs in modern history. At a mere 45 minutes from the Vegas strip, maybe it's time to give Mt. Charleston Ski Resort a run. And 150 miles north of Las Vegas like the town Rachel and the infamous area of 51. Both are along the Extraterrestrial Highway and supposedly entertain their own kind of visitors.
