| Re: Albuquerque, New Mexico Hi Jack, Albuquerque is without a doubt, the most popular city in New Mexico and It attracts thousands of visitors every year. The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta happens during the first week in October and lasts for 9 days. It features a wonderful display of hundreds of unique hot air balloons and over 1,000 pilots participating in the event. The festival remains a popular event which is attended by the enthusiasts year after year.Tickets start at $6 for anyone over 12 years old and it is free admission for anyone under 12 years of age.
