any suggestions for a fun weekend in NYC?

Hello all. I'm going to New York City next month for a ladies weekend and our plan is to hit one of the comedy clubs on Friday night and have dinner at the Rockefeller Center.

We'd like to do lots of exploring and shopping in between and visit The Empire State Building. when is the best time to visit the ESB? any other suggestions for a fun weekend in NYC? xx

I think that the Empire State Building is best visiting in the early morning and late night, though make sure you check the weather report for visibility before you go to the top of the ESB b/c if it's hazy it'll not be worth the time and money.

I like shopping in NYC too, and Canal Street area offers the best shopping opportunities. When you reach Canal Street, cross the street to the west and there you'll see shops selling knock-off handbags, scarves, etc.). For more shopping opportunities, follow Canal Street to West Broadway, which is the heart of SoHo, thee you'll find more great shopping and have a great time!
