|  1000 Islands attractions hey folks! im taking my two sons (obviously the wife is coming too!) to 1000 islands for a fun weekend. I've never been there myself, so i wanted to ask you what is there to do and see..thanks!:) |

|  Re: 1000 Islands attractions Boldt Castle is one of the top attractions in 1000 Islands that shouldn"t miss as it's that fund! The mansion has lots of windows that look out onto Alexandria Bay and nice gardens. Mind you, the castle is open from mid-May if you're planning to visit 1000 islands soon. Also, once you are done touring Boldt Castle, you can take a cruise of 1000 Islands to the nearby Yacht House where you can view a nice collection of wooden boats. |

| crossing over the river into Kingston I've heard that crossing over the river into Kingston, Ontario is cool. Do you have a passport? There are a bunch of boat cruises that are well regarded and a lot of fun. There's also an old jail in Kingston that is really cool to visit. Kingston also is home to Fort Henry, where you can see guards in British regalia from the past. |
