Default RUSSELL ABC LIMO My favorite restaurant in NYC

Saturday night, Beauty and I left the New York City limo services for a while to go out to dinner in my favorite neighborhood, The East Village. Where the west village is very wine and cheesy, conservative and touristy, the easy village has always had the punks, the crazies, the rock “n” roll and the cool atmosphere. We wandered into a joint called MARIONS on the Bowery. As we waited for a table we stood in a perfectly dimly lit Bar/Restaurant. Warm, cozy welcoming and rock n roll. The bartender made the perfect screwdriver. How so? She filled the glass with Vodka, and then squoze out a few drops of O.J. By the time Our host,Owner Richard sat us down(I admire any biz owner who still works the biz, like I still drive), we were well on our way to where cocktails are supposed to take you. It seemed all the pretty waitresses had tattoos on their shoulders. Vintage music played all night. The candles lit the table perfectly. Beauty’s burger platter was toooo much (how cool is that?). My veggie ravioli was perfect and I think the waitress heard that we would split a Caeser salad, cause it was perfect for two people. In short we loved it all.

ALL we do is work. When we don’t work, we think about work. For a few hours, we forgot the work and enjoyed ourselves and allowed a good time to seep in. For my wife Beauty to say , “THIS IS GREAT”! is a times worthy review. We fully recommend MARIONS and I will tell all my clients in my New York City limo services that this is a New York City memory they will never forget.

i HAVE A SYSTEM TO FIND A GOOD EATERY
1. decide your food
2. do you need linen?
3. music?
4. atmosphere?
5. something special that doesn't have a category?
service will prove itself,
good or bad you made an educated decision.

Default NEW restaurant in NYC

I had dinner last nigh at a weird place.
wont name it as I dont want to be NAMING NEGATIVES.
Half the menu was filled with nuts, cashew, prawns, walnuts, and i am allergic to nuts.
the food in general had no special taste at all, the appetizers, dull and bland.
the air conditioning was on full blast on top of us so when the main course came, it was cold by the time we ate it.
The fried rice was so bland that I wanted to send out for chinese food.
the only reason we liked the fried duck is because at least the frying gave it some taste.
the atmosphere was boutique, yet the music was U2-Springsteen-coffee house-beatles, no theme at all,
waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy over priced for all of this,
sorry i'd love to name it , but i'm not about that. I name the good ones only.
and food is so subjective.

ok, how about this?
RUSSELL FIGAREDO, THE DEBONAIR OWNER OF OUR FAVORITE GOTHAM
limousine company, abc nyc concierge is asked everyday to
recommend an authentic pizza place in New York. The truth, he says,
is that the chain restaurants have pretty much ruined this traditionally
great food. That’s not to say, however, that you won’t find good pizza
in New York . . . it’s just about knowing where to look. So if you ask him for
pizza, Russell will take you to Andrews Pizzeria on Elliot Avenue in Middle
Village, Queens. This place is the real deal, and he would know, because he
grew up close by. As a kid, Russell stopped at Andrew’s every day for a slice
and some pinball after delivering the Long Island Press. The owner, Andrew, is
the same guy that used to serve Russell pizza 30 years ago. So why is this pizza
so delicious? According to Russell, it’s the perfect combination of cheese, bread,
sauce and oil. Too much oil may be fun to drip on to the plate, but it drowns
the taste of the sauce, the real source of the flavor. On the contrary, some joints
use sauce like it starts and ends every problem. However, the real secret is
simple—Andrew is a first generation Italian in his late 40s who has that
wonderful European simpatico about him. This place is just like home.

Smile Spoilt for choice

You're spoilt for choice in NYC. The Cuba restaurant at 222 Thompson Street is often packed out - always a good sign.
