New York

New York, one of the original thirteen colonies, is filled with popular culture as well as historical venues. Visit the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, and Niagara falls. It's a busy city with events held at Madison Square Garden, Time Square and exhibits at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Travel throughout the city is just as easy as hailing a cab or catching the subway and trains.

Another great place to go apple picking is Wright’s Apple Farm in Gardiner. They make the best apple jelly I have ever tasted. They have a bakery on premise with fresh food daily..

Apple jelly sounds really good considering apples are my favorite fruit. The apple picking thing sounds like a fun novel idea.
