| My family and i are planning a trip to NYC, 3 kids 17, 11, and 3 years old. I have found a great deal for a hotel in Hunters Point Long Island City, but i have heard that queens is not the safest place to stay, i was wondering if anyone could tell me if this area of queens is safe? thanks |

| Hi there, Hunters Point is generally a safe neighborhood although it is best to avoid isolated areas towards Queens Plaza and industrial areas south of the LIE. In the other hand, places like Kew Gardens and Forrest Hills are generally the safer neighborhoods in Queens.
