Fabulous night in NYC?

In a few weeks I'll spend one night in NYC with my girlfriend and I want to do something special. Suggestions?

Here it is a suggestion:

You could go out for a romanctic dinner at Esperanto which is located on the corner of 9th Street and Ave. C. Esperanto is a Brazilian bar with good live music.

I would recommend staying at The New Yorker Hotel. I've stayed at the New Yorker hotel before, and it's got a perfect location to do all the sightseeing you want in Manhattan. Plus, the rates are affordable compared with hotels in that area.

Stay at the Plaza as you can go wrong here (if you can afford it).
