Default The Times Square New Years Eve celebration

The Times Square New Years Eve celebration is popular for the famous ball drop, which consist of thousands of balloons being dropped along with blizzard-like confetti and pyrotechnic displays.

If you’re considering going to Times Square New Years Eve celebration, I would advise to arrive early as security will be tight all around the Times Square vicinity.

Also, at the Times Square New Years celebration you won’t be allowed to bring bags or backpacks and no public drinking will be allowed.

If you don't want to stand out in the cold and want to avoid the large crowds, places such as TGI Friday's, Mars 2112, Carolines on Broadway, and the Bubba Gump's Shrimp Company will hold various indoor New Years Eve parties.

That definitely is something to look forward to. Hopefully there is a party nearby for the Christmas celebration as well. I remember the 2000 (y2k) celebration and one of my favorite, when they previewed a countdown world wide, that NY is one of my favorites.
