New York

New York, one of the original thirteen colonies, is filled with popular culture as well as historical venues. Visit the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, and Niagara falls. It's a busy city with events held at Madison Square Garden, Time Square and exhibits at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Travel throughout the city is just as easy as hailing a cab or catching the subway and trains.

Default Ithaca New York

I myself have never been to "the city" but I've been to a few spots elsewhere in New York including the fantabulous city of Ithaca, home of Cornell University, awesome gorges/waterfalls, and some mouth-watering pizza.

One of my favorite things to do in the area was also one of the scariest, and that's cliff diving into the many rivers and lakes. Well, that's factually incorrect...let's say cliff "jumping." Word to the wise: the first jump is always the hardest. After that you wanna do it again and again.

As far as eating, you can't go wrong with Cafe Dewitt in the Dewitt Mall for breakfast or lunch (or both). I recommend "The Desiree," one of the most pleasing egg sandwiches I've had (and I've had a bunch). The servers are great and the ingredients they use for their food are top-grade.
