|  Re: what are the laws like in Nicaragua? The best way to find out about the local laws, is from the local people once you are there. Keep your wits about you, and remember that anything you can do back home you may not be able to do in Nicaragua, and that includes smoking pot. In fact, I know of tourists that got caught smoking pot in Nicaragua and got locked up, though other people say that you can bribe the cops there if you get in trouble, which is actually a common thing in highly touristy areas in Nicaragua, and the entire Latin America for that matter. |
