|  A small town in NC,close to hiking trails........ Hello everyone: Do any of you have a particular small town that may be close to hiking trails and not too commercialized? I'm looking to a place to relax and do some hiking a bit away from the big cities and close to back to nature and perhaps not too far from the BRP.Any suggestions?I travel by RV. |  hiking trails near Asheville Asheville has several dirt trails in the woods within the city limits such as: -Reed Creek Greenway -Glenn's Creek Greenway -French Broad River Greenway -Swannanoa River Greenway / Azalea Park -River Bend Also, just outside Asheville's limits there is the Pisgah National Forest in the Bent Creek area where you can hike when you don't have a lot of time to drive from downtown. |
