|  Fall foliage in North Carolina One of the most beautiful drives for observing fall foliage is along the Blue Ridge Parkway as it winds its way through the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountain ranges of North Carolina. The drive is a leisurely one and you can stop at the designated overlooks along the way. Observe the beauty of the Pisgah National Forest and see the changing colors of the foliage as it unfolds for miles and miles and miles……..

| Blue Ridge Parkway views Blue Ridge Parkway is such a beautiful place to visit, and there are conveniently marked overlook sites guaranteed to make a great picture or memory. If you go in the evening you will get beautiful sunset views though during the day you can stop for a hike at white rock falls, which is a spot. I should also say to anyone going to Blue Ridge for a picnic that most of the picnic areas are not near the scenic views:( |
