hi there,

The Appalachian Mountains are one of the major attractions in North Carolina during the summer.

Also, consider a driving tour along the Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the best ways to spend your North Carolina vacations. Along the way you will find camping spots such as Great Smoky Mountain National Park as well as hiking trails that lead to waterfalls and excellent views of the valley below.

Hope this helps

North Carolina attractions can be found all around the state. Some of the most popular include the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. One of the most visited is the Biltmore House in Asheville. You take a self-guided tour through the mansion, which is unbelievable, visit the winery and gardens. The estate has a beautiful lodge for guests. Go during the holidays or the fall. In Durham, there’s the 78-acre North Carolina Museum of Life and Science. In Asheboro, the North Carolina Zoo stretches over 500 acres with plenty to see and do. To see the Wright Brothers Memorial, visit Kill Devil Hills located near the Outer Banks. For hikers, you have plenty of trails to explore in the Piscah and Nantahala National Forests, and the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest near Robbinsville. You can even walk the famous Appalachian Trail.
