We're looking to getaway this summer and i am looking for a destination in North Dakota with plenty of attractions and recreational opportunities. what are the top Minot attractions and is this city a good summer destination?

if you love the outdoors, many of the top Minot attractions revolve around the great outdoors, although there are other things to do such as visiting a museum or taking a trip to the zoo, and even doing a little shopping.

If you're visiting Minot in the summer,in late July you can attend the North Dakota State Fair, which is one of the top festivals on the calendar year in Minot. If you have kids traveling with you, the North Dakota State Fair features plenty of rides, games, and food concessions.

Minot has more to do than you might think. It's home to the charming Lillian & Coleman Taube Museum of Art and the Dakota Territory Air Museum. Birders also love Minot and its many wildlife preserves.

Not far from Minot, you'll find some cool places once visited from Lewis & Clark, including Fort Mandan and the Knife River Indian Village. They're a bit of a drive, but it's pretty cool to see where the explorers once visited.
