|  hiking in Williston hello, We enjoy doing outdoor activities and i was wondering if there is hiking trails near Williston? any ideas |

|  Re: hiking in Williston Hi there, Williston is nearby Lake Sakakawea State Park, which is home to Lake Sakakawea where you can enjoy fishing and boating. Also, at the state park, you can always go hiking. The North Country National Scenic Trail, which is slated to stretch from the park all the way to upstate New York when finished, is an excellent trail for hiking, as it offers numerous opportunities to take in the landscape, the park's plants, and its animals. Birdwatching is an especially rewarding pursuit in Lake Sakakawea State Park, and among the bird species that you can spot here are golden eagles, northern mockingbirds, and whooping cranes. |
