renting bikes in Norway

Three of my best friends and me are planning an adventure trip to Norway and we'd like to do mountain biking to explore the scenery. we're not bring your own bike, so we're wondering whether there are plenty of Norway bike rentals in the country and where are they?

There are plenty of bike rentals in Norway if you guys want to rent a bike for independent exploration, though joining up with a tour group and having a guide lead the way is recommended if you don't know the area.

The Olympic town of Lillehammer is one of the best places in Norway to rent bikes rentals, as it's located near Lake Mjosa, which boasts a bike route that goes around the entire perimeter.

Otherwise, for a less strenuous bike trip and cheaper rentals, you could rent bikes in Oslo where you will find numerous stations where you can return your bike rental.

By the way, if you plan to getaway this spring, I 'd hold back until summer (July through September) for a biking trip in Norway.
