| Hi there, The central region is one of the best places for finding angling and fly fishing opportunities. For instance, Buckeye Lake is over 3,600 acres wide and it is home to Largemouth Bass, Bluegills, Channel Catfish, Bullheads and Yellow Perch. The creeks in Ohio are also very popular for fishing. Places such as Beaver Creek State Park sits at the base of the Appalachians near Columbus and offers great angling opportunities. Conneaut Creek is another popular spot for fishing Ohio creeks where Steelhead abound as well as Smallmouth Bass , Walleye, Muskie and Trout. |
