| Since opening in 1995, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has become one of Clevelands most popular attractions. Music lovers will be spoiled for choice on a visit here / Covering 6 floors the exhibits include:- On the Charts - Todays Artists Rockin All Over the World - The music of Memphis, Detroit, Liverpool, San Francisco, LA, New York, London and Seattle Legends of Rock and Roll The Roots of Rock and Roll - Blues, Gospel, R'n'B, Country and Folk Rave On - Rock and Rolls Early Years Hang on Sloopy - The Music of Ohio Respect - The Sound of Soul Architects of Rock and Roll - Les Paul. Alan Freed and Sam Phillips Listen to the Music - The Evolution of Audio Rolling Stone Magazine Pink Floyd The Wall Help - Behind the Scenes of the Beatles Movie Break on Through - The lasting legacy of the Doors There are also interactive exhibits such as 500 Songs that shaped Rock and Roll. The Beat Goes on a performer Influence Database, Dedicated to the one i love:Rock and Radio, The Sound of Soul, The New Sound: Les Paul and the Electric Guitar. These exhibits are all permantent but there may be additional exhibits on depending when you visit. As well as the exhibits you can also watch several films, relax in the cafe or browse the museum store which offers offical merchandise as well as a wide selection of CD's and books. The Museum is open 7 days a week from 10am - 5.50pm and open till 9pm on Wednesdays It is fully adapted for Wheelchair users with elevators serving all levels. Tickets can be purchased at the information desk in the lobby and the prices are as follows:- General Public Adults: $22 Greater Cleveland residents: $18 (with proper ID) Seniors (65+): $17 Children ages 9-12: $13 Children ages 8 and under FREE with purchase of adult admission To purchase tickets in advance, visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum box office, call Ticketmaster at 800.493.ROLL, visit your Ticketmaster outlet or ticketmaster.com.
