|  thinking of going to Oklahoma City Hey! My family and I are thinking of going to Oklahoma City for vacation in late March next year. Has anyone been there before? Is it a "boring" city? I don't know much about Oklahoma City or the great plains region so maybe someone who has been to OK City could tell me what there is to do there. Thanks! |

|  Re: thinking of going to Oklahoma City If you're looking for a vacation in Oklahoma with plenty of outdoor activities, go to the NE part of the state to Grand Lake and to places like Bartlesville and the Osage Indian nation. To me, Oklahoma City seems that whatever there is to do, isn't readily apparent to outsiders, and it may take some locals to guide you. I've been to Oklahoma City once and didn't find it hard keeping myself entertained for five days. |
