Portland Airport shuttles

hi guys,

has anyone been on a Portland Airport shuttle before? Are Portland Airport shuttles free and can they take outside of the downtown area? Also, how long will the shuttle take between the airport and dowtown? Is there any other airport transport mode apart from taxis?

Hi there,

Portland Airport shuttles service all the hotels in downtown Portland and cost about $12 one way, and they are cheaper than taxis considering that taxis coast around $25 one way.

Before booking the airport shuttle, do inquire with your hotel whether is included in the hotel price, as most hotels include complimentary shuttle service.

Taking the MAX light rail train from the airport to the downtown area is another way, and actually the cheapest, although not as convenient as the shuttle, in my opinion.

The shuttle takes around 30 minutes, while the MAX light rail takes about the same amount of time.
