shopping in Portland

hello, I am taking my wife for a bit of 'no sale tax' shopping in Oregon. We're coming from Vancouver in Washington State.

where do you folks suggest shopping in Portland? where we can find a mix of upscale stores, boutiques and malls?

The Lloyd Center Portland, found near the Pioneer Courthouse Square, boasts an array of lovely shops that you won't find anywhere else in the state.

At the Pioneer Place Mall, your wife will surely love the mixed shopping experience. You can shop for shoes, high-end clothing, jewelry and just about everything else that you could want to buy are on sale at the Pioneer Place Mall. You can also visit the mall's cinema and watch a movie when looking for things to do.

For up-scale shopping, the Washington Square Mall and the Clackamas Town Center are two good bets, although the Washington Square Mall is slightly more high-end than the Clackamas Town Center if you are in the market for high-end goods.
