| I've gotten several requests on visting the Valley of Fire and since I've never been can anyone provide our users comments on the Valley of Fire. Is it worth the trip?

| I have to say it was worth it for me. The $6 entrance fee is fair enough, perhaps even a little cheap considering some of the money you might otherwise throw away in an air-conditioned Vegas casino while inhaling second-hand smoke. There were definitely a couple instances where the rocks *did* appear to be on fire when reflecting the sun's rays, which I thought was going to be more a typical marketing tool. We didn't stay overnight, but I imagine that can be pretty enjoyable as well. That said, it also has one of the cooler names I've seen given to a State Park. Two thumbs up. |
