|  Gunman shoots up Las Vegas A gunman opened fire on gamblers in a Las Vegas casino on Friday, wounding three people, police said. The man shot at the gamblers below from a walkway in the New York-New York casino early in the morning, said police, adding that the gunman was subdued by bystanders before on-duty police arrived. The gunman was believed to be in his early 50s and a Las Vegas resident who was not a hotel employee or guest, said Ramon Denby, a police department spokesman. He said the man had entered the casino from the walkway connecting the New York-New York casino to a nearby hotel and randomly fired several times at people on the casino floor below. "It seems like some local guy who snapped and went to the hotel to do it," Denby said.
