Mandalay Bay Shark Reef family friendly Halloween event

The Shark Reef is celebrating Halloween next Saturday, October 29. The Haunted Reef will celebrate the creep critters found in the Shark Reef exhibits. The tunnels will be decorated with Halloween creep and carved pumpkins will be lit.

Kids age 12 and younger, as long as they're in costume, can visit for free.Anyone older than 17 and is eligible, can visit for free if they give blood.

The fun kicks off at 10 a.m.

This sounds like a lot of fun. It's more proof that Las Vegas is family friendly...even at Halloween!

I love visiting the Shark Reef Aquarium especially during the Haunted Reef Halloween event. The aquarium replaces all the ocean and wildlife sound effects with rattling chains, creaking doors and spooky music. As far as admission goes if you come dressed in a costume they will receive complimentary entry and candy treats. Regular admission will be $18 for adults; and $12 for children 5-12 years.
