From Costa Rica crossing the borders and rent a car

Hello, my name is Dave and Im planning to do a 12 days trip in end march-april from San Jose to Panama city I found on a previous post that I can rent a car from San jose to Puerto Vierjo and then cross the border with the Bocas shuttle

but then I will get to Bocas Del Toro, which company could I rent a car with to get to Panama city afterward???

Anyone can help me please!!! The earlier the better :)

hey Dave, there are no car rentals in Isla Colon . Transportation around Bocas del Toro and the island is almost entirely by taxi and water taxi.

Youn need to look online at Budget or another large car rental firm based in Panama City. They have offices somewhere in Bocas Del Toro on the mainland, either at Almirante or changuinola. Beware in Panama they charge something like $160 for a drop a different drop off point, other wise car rental is pretty cheap here depending on what vehicle you get.
