Where is a good place to do surfing in Panama?

Hi there,

One of the top Panama surfing destinations is the Bocas del Toro which is found on the northwest coast. Most surfers going to Bocas del Toro stay on Colon Island because of its various beaches.

The best time to enjoy surfing in Bocas del Toro is between the months of December and April. This is also Panama’s high season for tourism, so you would want to book your accomodation as early as you can.

Another great surfing spot is Catalina because of its consistent waves. It is a six-hour drive from Panama City and there are some convenient places to grab a bit in Catalina.

Bocas is really popular, a little far of Panama City. There are also good places near San Blas
