Default Ancient Nazca Lines

Are the Nazca Lines worth doing on a tour? has anyone been there before?

Default Re: Ancient Nazca Lines

The Nazca lines are located in the desert near the city of Ica, and they're basically similar to the famed crop circles.

The best way to see and appreciate the Nazca Lines is on a 2-day organized tour, which includes a plane tour, a visit to the museum and sand boarding . However, if you plan to do the trip I have a few tips for you:

1) Make sure you confirm the time of the flight the day before for weather changes.

2) If weather changes, your flight will get delayed until the weather clears, and that can seem like ages.

3) Once you get to Ica, they will separate you into a few groups, so one group will do the Nazca lines, the other will get to do sand dune boarding, etc.

4) Wear comfortable trainers, a few layers and non-sticky sunscreen since you'll be on desert, and temperatures do go down.
