| Peru Experience the festivals of Peru all year round. Take a walking route on the Inca Trail , which leads to Machu Picchu, a town sitting at 7,000 feet above sea level with great Inca monuments. Visit the town of Cusco and get a taste of pre-Columbian cultures or see the artifacts at one of the many Peru Museums. |

| My son and I will take the train from Cuzco to Puno and then will need to travel to La Paz. I'd be grateful for any suggestions as to transportation between the two cities. Thanks in advance, Cliff Swanson |

| I would recommend the train in Cusco to Puno. Its a great way to see alot of the country between the two cities. From Puno take a hydrofoil through lake Titicaca to the end of the lake and hop a bus to arrive into La Paz.
